Experiences

Uninhabited sandy islands. Calm, secluded beaches. Coral-filled waters teeming with fish. It’s all here in Carriacou.

Looking for adventure beyond our front door? Grab one of our kayaks and discover hidden coves and watch iguanas lay their eggs. Explore Carriacou’s numerous white powder beaches or speed boat to uninhabited cays just beyond to swim surrounded by turtles. Immerse yourself in the rich and diverse underwater life at the 33 dive sites surrounding the island or hike in the High North Nature Reserve to stumble upon ruins from the 1700s. Many adventures await you in Carriacou and local tour operators can help you realize your perfect vacation.

With no cruise ships, large hotels or store and restaurant franchises on the island, you will feel like a local, shopping and dining at local establishments. There are no tourist traps on Carriacou, just 100% genuine Kayak* charm.

*Kayak is the term for the inhabitants of Carriacou

Beach BBQ

Tim’s Sunset Beach Bar grills fresh lobster fish, chicken or ribs on a beautiful, isolated beach, mere minutes from Villa La Pagerie. You can either hike there through the bush (passing 200-year-old ruins along the way) or have Tim arrange a complimentary boat transfer from our jetty.

Get there in the early afternoon to snorkel, play volleyball, eat a torch-lit dinner in the sand and catch Tim’s boat home under the stars.

Island “All Stars” Tour

We can help create bespoke tours of the cays surrounding Carriacou for quintessential Robinson Crusoe-style island experiences. (Except unlike poor Crusoe, you’ll be watered and fed!) Adventure awaits!

Don’t miss the excellent and easy snorkelling off Sandy Island’s palm-lined beach, Mopion’s Instagram-worthy thatched “engagement umbrella” punctuating a tiny reef-encircled sandy spit in the middle of the open sea, the deserted and pristine white sandy beaches of White Island or the turtle-filled waters around Saline Island.

Beyond Carriacou’s waters you can snorkel the reef and swim with turtles in the world-famous Tobago Cays Marine Park, lounge and dine on beautiful Salt Whistle Bay in Mayreau (SVG) and take your time sipping sundowners at Happy Island – an island made entirely out of conch shells with a quirky bar serving rum-infused cocktails and kite surfers performing stunts for beer and attention.

Once guests make a booking with us, we supply all the information you’ll need to plan your tours and help arrange them with local operators according to your needs.

Sailing Tour

Set sail on the sparkling waters aboard a gorgeous catamaran. Incognito Adventures offers customized itineraries for day charters that are tailored to your desires.  Sailing, snorkelling, diving (PADI-certified), relaxing on remote beaches, eating amazing food, and enjoying cold, local beverages are all part of the adventure.

Private Photo Shoot

Document your Carriacou vacation with a professional photo shoot to capture extraordinary moments with family and friends. Villa La Pagerie works with Floyd, a skilled and experienced photographer who specializes in lifestyle and wedding photography. Get exceptional social media and family album shots at the location of your choice – in the villa, on our private beach or anywhere else in Carriacou. After the shoot, receive edited high-resolution photos to keep.

Local Cooking Experience

For those interested in farm-to-table seasonal cooking, Villa La Pagerie works with Bryan, a former chef turned gardener who will prepare a multiple-course Kayak meal with you in our kitchen. Using ingredients from the island (and his garden) he will teach you how to cook like a local – from cocktails to dessert and everything in between.
